Our Story
As Entrepreneurs we are always up to something. Being coffee lovers ourselves, our passion to bring you the best coffee is on fire.
We came together living on the beautiful seacoast of New Hampshire, we walked the beach, chatting and drinking lots of coffee. Being serial entrepreneurs we are always brain storming. Not being satisfied with any coffee that was available, we started researching and taste testing in our kitchen and One More Cup® was born. Before we knew it we were sketching out a business model, building a website and creating a logo.
We spent about 14 months sampling coffee beans from all over the world, seeking out premier coffee plantations. Our kitchen became a test kitchen.
Our logo started with a picture of my (Cheryl's) grandparents coffee mugs I grew up with. The ocean scene on the original packaging were pictures we took on our many walks on the beach. That is where the names of our blends came from. Sunrise (a light roast), crisp and clean, perfect to start your day and Sunset (a dark roast), bold yet smooth, a special blend to settle in the evening.
It took us another 2 years to find and perfect our Decaf. Once we discovered The Swiss Water® decaffeination process we knew that was the only way we wanted to present a decaf, all natural, full of flavor and fabulous.
Fast forward 7 years and here we are. Our 3 signature Blends and now also building Lifestyle Swag. We are always seeking to add to the inventory, feeding our entrepreneur spirit.
Creating and brewing with intention,

Why Organic ?
The organic environmental standard is to ensure the use of renewable resources without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, thereby assuring the health of the soil, the forest, the farmers and the consumer.
All farming used to be organic; By following traditional practices today we remove the need for herbicides, pesticides and fertilizer entering the environment.
Organic coffee farmers use the eco system to their advantage. Growing citrus and fruit-bearing trees as the canopy this serves several purposes, providing organic mulch for the understory coffee crop, supporting wildlife by encouraging beneficial insects which in turn provides a healthier more resistant soil , crops and food for the community.
How do you know our coffee is Organic ?
All of our coffee is Certified Organic by OCIA (Organic Crop Improvement Association) which provides certification services to growers and the USDA.
In addition, all of our packages carry the Certification Seal of both OCIA and USDA.
By supporting Organic products you are supporting the health and well being of not only you and your family but our planet.

Why Fair Trade ?
The Fair trade system works to empower small scale farmers and workers marginalized by trade. Fair trade ensures that farmers are paid a fair price for their goods and workers are paid a fair wage.
Sadly, most farmers know little of where the coffee they grow ends up or the price it eventually sells for. Beans pass through a complicated supply chain of growers, traders, processors, exporters, roasters and retailers before finally reaching the consumer’s cup.
The Fair trade certified goods like coffee, are produced according to a set of strict standards that along with protecting the farmers encourages environmental sustainability, protecting land and waterways in 45 countries and counting.
How do you know our coffee is Fair Trade ?
All of our coffee is Certified Fair Trade by Transfair-USA the organization that monitors all aspects of coffee purchases to verify that the goods are indeed Fair Trade goods and products.
In addition, all of our packages carry the Certification Seal from Transfair-USA.
You can make a difference in many lives by purchasing Fair Trade Certified Products.
